2026 Leaders Convention

At Coliman Bananas, we believe that leadership is much more than managing teams—it is about inspiring others, building trust, and creating a shared purpose that drives the growth of the entire organization. When we share a common vision, learn from one another, and work toward shared goals, we strengthen our ability to face new challenges and create a positive impact across every area of the company.

With this conviction, we held our 2026 Leaders Convention at the end of June, bringing together managers from every area of Coliman Bananas. The event was designed to strengthen leadership, encourage collaborative learning, and continue reinforcing the organizational culture that sets us apart.

Throughout the convention, participants shared knowledge, exchanged experiences, and reflected on best practices for continuing to develop and empower their teams. They also explored the challenges and opportunities facing our organization, fostering open dialogue, collaboration, and the joint pursuit of solutions that support the company’s sustainable growth.

One of the main objectives of the event was to align the organization’s strategic vision while reinforcing each leader’s commitment to the goals that will shape the future of Coliman Bananas. Innovation, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and talent development were among the key pillars that guided the discussions and activities throughout the convention.

As part of the event, we also celebrated the dedication and commitment of those whose leadership and example inspire our employees every day. Recognizing internal talent strengthens our culture and reaffirms our commitment to building an environment where people can develop, grow professionally, and contribute to our shared success.

Colimed: New Distribution Center in Chihuahua

At Coliman Bananas, we proudly celebrated the inauguration marking the start of operations of our new banana and papaya ripening Distribution Center in the state of Chihuahua, as part of a strategic partnership with Medfrut, a recognized fruit and vegetable distributor in the region. This alliance gives rise to Colimed, a joint venture formed by Coliman Bananas and Medfrut with the objective of strengthening the commercialization of bananas and papayas throughout the state of Chihuahua.

The new ripening Distribution Center is equipped to carry out specialized processes that allow precise control at every stage of ripening, ensuring that the fruit reaches the optimal point of color, flavor, and texture. With this infrastructure, Colimed will be able to offer the market fresh, consistent, and high-quality products, aligned with the standards that distinguish Coliman Bananas at both national and international levels.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Teresa Castillo, General Director of Medfrut, and Jorge Aguilar, General Director of Coliman Bananas, symbolizing the formal launch of this partnership, which represents a key step in the expansion and strengthening of the logistics and commercial networks of both organizations.

Within this partnership, Coliman Bananas contributes its productive expertise, experience, and product quality—built over years of work in the field and across the supply chain—while Medfrut brings its extensive knowledge of the regional market and strong logistical capabilities. Together, this synergy enables the efficient and timely fulfillment of the needs of the Chihuahua market.

The main objective of this alliance is to deliver the freshness, quality, and reliability of Coliman Bananas’ bananas and papayas to the tables of final consumers throughout the state of Chihuahua. This project responds to a need identified through an in-depth analysis of the regional market, which revealed the lack of a solid, specialized, and reliable option for supplying these fruits, ensuring continuity, service, and strong customer support.

The inauguration was attended by collaborators from Coliman Bananas and Medfrut, as well as partners, friends, and family members of the shareholders, in a symbolic event that reflects not only business growth, but also the bonds of collaboration, trust, and friendship built over years of working together—now solidified with the start of Colimed’s operations in Chihuahua.

At Coliman Bananas, we celebrate one of Mexico’s most beloved traditions, the Day of the Dead, with enthusiasm. This year, our farms, CEDIS, and administrative offices were filled with color, flowers, papel picado, and shared memories, bringing our Day of the Dead Altar Contest to life.

Each altar told a story with love. Surrounded by lit candles, the scents of pan de muerto and cempasúchil, and photos that evoked memories, each space reflected the creativity, affection, and connection of our teams to this tradition that unites us as Mexicans.

Beyond the contest, we experienced a moment of unity, pride, and gratitude. We came together as the Coliman family to honor life, memory, and the roots that inspire us to grow together.

💛🕯️We invite you to experience this beautiful tradition through our photo and video gallery. Each image tells a story, and each smile celebrates life.
